AAPAC DESIGNBUILD
is designing this two storey house which is
going to be built on a picturesque coastal site. A L-shaped
void is created in the middle of the house to bring winter sun to the
formal lounge room on the ground floor. A glass roof with
operable lourves on top is to be built on top of the kitchen to catch
as much winter sun as possible. Curved roofs are introduced
to create wave forms as well as to bring winter sun into spaces which
otherwise have no winter sun access. Hot air can also escape
through glass lourves at high levels below the curved roofs.
The house will be fronting to coastal golf courses. Water
view is in the direction of the pool.
